My Kitten’s Unable
My kitten’s unable
to do any tricks.
He can’t run in circles
or jump or fetch sticks.
My kitten’s unable
to come when I call,
or wave or roll over,
or play dead or crawl.
My kitten’s unable
to sit on command.
He can’t bring my slippers.
He can’t shake my hand.
My kitten’s unable
to beg for a treat.
He can’t speak or stay
or do anything neat.
My kitten’s the reason
I went on this rant.
Most kittens are cats
but my kitten’s a can’t.
