We Call Our Teacher Mister E.
From the book A Festival for Frogs
We call our teacher Mister E.
His last name is a mystery.
It’s secret, but we don’t know why.
We think that maybe he’s a spy
who doesn’t share his name so he
can hide his real identity.
Now, someday, that last name of his
may tell us who he really is,
but only if we get to see
the true last name of Mister E.
Until then, there will always be
the mystery of Mister E.
