My New TV
From the book A Festival for Frogs
I bought a really cheap TV.
It only cost a buck.
They said it was on sale because
the volume knob was stuck.
I took it home and turned it on.
THE SOUND WAS WAY TOO LOUD!!!
The volume knob was stuck on high.
But, still, I felt so proud.
My TV was the cheapest one
in any store in town.
It only cost a dollar so
I couldn’t turn it down.
