My Brother Plays Dungeons & Dragons
From the book The Elephant Repairman
My brother plays Dungeons & Dragons
with friends, or at home by himself.
But when he plays Dungeons & Dragons,
he isn’t a wizard or elf.
He isn’t a knight or a fighter.
He isn’t a cleric or bard.
He isn’t a rogue or a ranger,
or even a servant or guard.
He isn’t a demon or dragon.
He isn’t an ape or an orc.
No, when he plays Dungeons & Dragons,
he’s simply, and proudly, a dork.
