How to Make People Like You
From the book My Dog Likes to Disco
I got a new book.
You should come take a look.
It’s called, “How to Make People Like You.”
I read it today
to see what it would say,
and I did what it told me to do.
I read the directions
in all of the sections.
I followed them all one by one.
I thought, when this ends,
I’ll have so many friends,
and that would be awesome and fun.
The steps were correct,
but I didn’t expect
it would have me complaining and groaning.
I made people like me,
but what didn’t strike me,
is this was a book about cloning.
