Get Up! Get Up!
“Get up! Get up! Get out of bed
you lazy bum, you sleepyhead.”
Yes, that is what my mother said
at eight-oh-five today.
She left the house and drove to work.
She’ll soon be feeling like a jerk
when she finds out — I have to smirk —
today is Saturday.
