- Cicada Magazine
CICADA is a YA lit/comics magazine fascinated with the lyric and strange and committed to work that speaks to teens’ truths. They publish poetry, realistic and genre fic, essay, and comics by adults and teens. (They are also inordinately fond of Viking jokes.) Submissions are invited but not required to engage young adult themes.
- Family Friend Poems
Teens can submit their poems here. Family Friend Poems publishes poems written by teens for teens.
- Fern's Poetry Club
This website from PBS Kids lets children submit their own poems. Every day they select one as the "Poem of the Day." You can also read poems written by other kids.
- KIdsWWrite
KIdsWWwrite publishes writing by young authors and offers you a chance to share it with the world. Read stories and poems by other young authors or submit your own writing for publication on the site.
- LaunchPad Magazine
Launch Pad: Where Young Authors and Illustrators Take Off! selectively publishes the fiction, nonfiction, poetry, book reviews, and art by young authors and illustrators ages 6 – 14. Written works accepted for publication are assigned to young artists to illustrate, resulting in unique and creative publications. Launch Pad welcomes submissions of original stories, poems, and book reviews that have not previously been published.
- MoontownCafe
The MoontownCafe is an interactive community of poets, writers, and publishers. It includes an area for kids to post their poems and writing. Also, adults are welcome to post their poetry for children here.
- Polyphony H.S.
Polyphony H.S. is an international student-run literary magazine for high-school writers. Their title is a combination of the Greek term meaning many voices, and the abbreviation for High School. Polyphony H.S. is published annually in August. They offer three awards for excellence in writing through the Claudia Ann Seaman Awards, one each in poetry, fiction, and literary non-fiction.

The Claremont Review publishes young writers and artists, aged 13-19, from anywhere in the English-speaking world. They accept poetry, short stories, short plays, graphic art, photography,
and interviews. - Writing Zone
Writing Zone Magazine is an online-only literary magazine publishing creative writing by children ages 7-12. They publish poetry and short fiction as an outlet for children to express themselves through writing, provide an opportunity to read works from other children in their age group, and allow youths to get a jump start on becoming published writers.
- Young Poets
Young poets has a large collection of poetry written by kids from ages 5-18. They also include their stories and some of their drawings where possible.
- Young Writer's Project
