My hot dog is soggy.
My burger is wet.
My chicken is dripping.
I’m getting upset.
My corn on the cob
and my coleslaw and pie,
are so full of water
I think I might cry.
My chips are like liquid
along with my fruit.
My kids are all giggling.
They think that it’s cute.
I promise you this…
That’s the last time that I
let them play with the hose
on the Fourth of July.
