Gobble, Gobble Went the Turkey

"Gobble, gobble," went the turkey
in his quirky chirping way.
"Gobble, gobble," went the turkey
up until Thanksgiving Day.

"Gobble, gobble," went the turkey
till we turned the oven on.
Gobble, gobble went the turkey.
Now the turkey's (gobble) gone.
